Other historical and archival sources relevant to your research goals
Written Summary Report: A professionally written summary of the research conducted, key findings, and recommended next steps, when applicable.
Source Citations: Findings are supported by source citations so the information is documented, clear, and verifiable.
Digital Copies of Relevant Records: When available, digital copies of records located during the research will be included with your report.
Ancestry Tree Updates: When requested, key documented findings may be added to an existing Ancestry tree provided by the client.
Ideal For:
Individuals beginning family history research
Clients seeking specific historical records
Those exploring a single family line or a focused research question
Clients wanting a professionally documented starting point for future research
How It Works
Every family history is unique, and research needs can vary considerably depending on the complexity of the case, the availability of records, and whether foreign language or DNA research is involved. I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your goals, review the information you already have, and recommend a research plan tailored to your case.
All research begins with a free consultation and a signed research agreement. You’ll receive a clear explanation of the proposed research, costs, and expected deliverables before any work begins.
If your research would benefit from additional work, I’ll explain what I recommend and provide a fixed quote for the next phase. Nothing is added without your approval, and there are never surprise charges.
Agency and law enforcement rates are available on request.
